We have such a joke here: "the farther into the forest - the guerrillas're fatter" I'm not sure if my translation gives you the right sense of this humor:) But I hope that you'll understand the meaning of it while reading my post.
(The propoganda poster says: If you wouldn't read books - you'll lose you literacy soon)
In our soviet past they often said with pride: "Russia is the most reading country in the world!" Well, we used to be reading a lot, indeed. Then a variety of TV-programms, computing, Internet and other entertainment came into our life. So, I hardly read 10 books a year (real "paper-books"!).
But today I remembered the words about "the most reading country" - for I've read too much. And what should I do if I see so many interesting posts to read! I only wanted to find some interesting information about Asia life&culture - but opened an endless world of different opinions and life experiences...
Telling shorter: "the farther into the forest - the guerrillas're fatter"! Now I hardly have time to write for I'm reading, reading, reading. Next profile I'd publish will be "the professional Russian reader":)
